Dr. Motilal Raichand is a board certified comprehensive
ophthalmologist and a retina specialist. He completed his
retina/vitreous fellowship at the University of Illinois, Eye
and Ear Infirmary in 1979. His interests include diabetic
retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal tears, ocular tumors,
retinal vascular diseases and laser photocoagulation. He has
extensive research and teaching experience and has more than 100
publications to his credit. He serves as a Clinical Associate
Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Illinois at
Chicago.
He is a fellow of American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also
a member of the prestigious Retina Society. Other fellowships
include fellowship of American College of Surgeons and
International College of Surgeons.
He is happy to see patients who require general and
comprehensive eye care as well as those with retinal diseases.
He also provides diagnostic tests like retinal angiography and
ultrasound studies of the eye in his office.
